About Michael
Michael is a Portland-based photographer, writer, and the co-editor of Berm magazine. In 2024, his first photo zine Foliage was released.
From 2014-2021, Michael was a co-producer on the Talking to Ghosts podcast, which interviewed creatives about their lives. Releasing 200 episodes, Talking to Ghosts specialized in long-form, conversational Interviews. Guests included: Marcus Fischer, Rodney Anonymous, and King Woman.
In 2023, Michael’s video art piece In Distance Time Moves was selected for the Timescape(s) group exhibit at Moscow Contemporary in Idaho. Also in 2023, Berm won the Oregon Book Awards Publishers Fellowship.
In 2024, Michael’s short play Danny & Rose was part of the Chapel Theater 10-minute Play Festival.
